In addition to choosing the appropriate geographical projection, designing a map of the world sometimes requires different configurations in terms of continental and ocean masses. For example, the classic map of the world with Africa and Europe at the centre is not very appropriate if one thinks of maps in which the Pacific must be of fundamental importance. That’s why Maptorian vector maps of the world include some vector maps centered on the Pacific Ocean. Here are some of those maps.
